With a large commercial roof and daytime electricity demand, Sunrise Blinds provided an excellent opportunity to generate renewable electricity directly where it is needed.
During a particularly sunny four-day period following installation, the 60-panel system generated an impressive 1,006kWh of electricity — demonstrating the potential of well-designed commercial solar PV.
By generating electricity on site, the system can help Sunrise Blinds reduce energy costs, lower its carbon footprint and decrease its reliance on electricity purchased from the grid.
It’s another example of how unused commercial roof space can be transformed into an energy-generating asset for a business.
